SAFEGUARDING

Futures Project is aimed at developing skiing and snowboarding skills in young people aged 6-18 years old.  It is a collaboration between British Ski & Snowboard, Snowsport England, Snowsport Scotland & Snowsport Cymru Wales.  Futures Project, a programme led by British Ski & Snowboard is committed to ensuring all children and young people (aged under 18) who participate have a safe, rewarding and positive experience.

The BSS Safeguarding Policy must be complied with by all who work or volunteer within, or for, Futures Project. This promotes good practice, helps raise awareness, and ensures people know what to do if they have any concerns about athletes or the behaviour of adults within or outside of the organisations named above.

If you have a concern which relates to you or your child’s involvement in the Futures Project, you may feel it appropriate in the first instance to talk to the head coach or event organiser.
